He will also discuss how urban morphology and density constraints influence the feasibility and performance of sustainable cooling strategies based on Brussels European Quarter developments.</p><h2><span style="color:#e67e22;">Bio</span></h2><p>Shady Attia is Professor of Sustainable Architecture and Building Technology at the University of Li&egrave;ge, Belgium, and Head of the Sustainable Building Design (SBD) Lab. His research focuses on sustainable cooling, urban heat islands, net-zero carbon buildings, and district energy systems. He is internationally recognized for linking building performance, urban microclimate, and climate adaptation in dense urban environments.</p><h2>&nbsp;</h2>
